Our extensive FAQ below should hopefully answer any questions you may have regarding your purchases from Crocodiles of the World’s Online Gift Shop.

The online contact form is the preferred method of contact but you can also telephone Crocodiles of the World Tel: 01993 846353 Monday to Friday 10am-5pm. Please be aware that this is also the main phone number for Crocodiles of the World, the UK’s only Crocodiles Zoo.

How do I place an order?

Ordering through our online gift shop secure site is easy. The most important details you’ll need are your name, address, phone number, email address, and your credit/debit card or paypal details.

 

Once you’ve finished browsing the site, adding the products you want to your basket, click the Checkout button. You will then be taken to the payment area when you can input the delivery method here, and then choose which way to pay, either with your credit/debit card or via your paypal account. You will then either fill out your name and address details. You then pay which completes the order.

 

You will then receive an email to confirm the details of your order, which we suggest you check carefully. If there are any problems with the order, please contact us.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

We deliver within the UK mainland, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Unfortunately we do not currently ship orders outside the UK.

When can I expect delivery?

We post all our items via Royal Mail second class post which generally takes 3-5 working days to arrive. Please note: Any order placed after 3pm on Friday, or at the weekend will not be despatched until Monday.

 

How much will delivery cost?

All shipping costs will be calculated and shown separately in your shopping basket. Prices start from £2.99 Royal Mail second class post.

How can I pay?

You can pay using a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Visa Delta, Switch, Maestro or Solo).

What if my item is out of stock?

We endeavour to keep stocks on the website 100% accurate but in the unlikely event that this is not the case, a member of our team will contact as soon as possible to discuss options or cancel the order. If something you’re wanting to order is showing as out of stock please use our contact form specifying the product and we shall investigate when the item will be back in stock.

Can I select a different delivery address?

Yes, you can select a different UK delivery address at the time of placing your order.

What is your returns policy?

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us within 14 days stating your order number and the reason for return. We shall then send you our return instructions.

 

Please note that for a full refund (including outward delivery cost) all items must be returned as new, unworn, with labels intact and all original packaging. This also includes items bought from the gift shop on the day of your visit.

 

Please note: Shipping charges to return items will be paid for by the customer.

How do I return a faulty item?

In the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect/faulty item, please contact us immediately via our online form stating your order number and whether you’d like to exchange the item or receive a refund. We will then send you further instructions. This also includes any items bought from the shop on the day of your visit.

We require all faulty items to be sent back to the Zoo with a receipt of purchase, before any exchanges or refunds can be processed.

Please note: Shipping charges to return items will be paid for by the customer.

When will I receive my refund?

All refunds will be processed within five working days of receipt of goods and can only be issued to the payment card used to place your order. This can take up to five working days to then show on your bank statements.

I have visited Crocodiles of the World and would like to buy an item that is not on your website.
